Petra first became familiar with lean methods in Tajo Czech where she attended extensive trainings and workshops focused on Value Stream Mapping, 5S, SMED, Hoshin Kanri, Shopfloor Management, Problem Solving methods etc. In Tajo, a company specialized in injection molding of plastic parts for the automotive industry, she was part of the company´s top management, working simultaneously in HR and strategic purchasing and later taking over the position of the company´s lean manager. Apart from the coordination of lean trainings, Petra was responsible for the execution of all activities related to the implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement and was directly involved in the company´s strategic planning process.
In addition to her experience from Tajo, Petra has many years of experience as a foreign language lecturer and interpreter, and as such has been involved in several international projects dealing with transfers of production and implementation of new technologies in manufacturing companies.
During her MBA studies in HR management and her work in HR, she gained valuable experience in working with people at all levels across a company, as well as in soft skills and change management. The project management MBA studies reinforced her knowledge in project management, leadership, lean six sigma etc.
She is currently working at Effectivity as EDIH-DIGIMAT project leader and lean consultant.
